Our Pledge to Food Safety

There are no more important issues for the produce industry today than the safety of our food. Robertson Produce is your partner in helping make sure you have the safest possible fresh fruits and vegetables. Our commitment to food safety and security is second to none. Our team of highly qualified professionals manage and monitor fresh food safety even step of the way. In times of crisis, our management team responds immediately to any recall or outbreak situation and quickly communicates pertinent information to our customers. 

 

On site, RobertsonProduce utilizes our own Director of Food Safety who is certified in Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), as well as a food safety committee made up of members of our Quality Assurance team. Additionally, we internally review our food safety program on a regular basis, as well as conduct independent inspections by internationally certified third-party auditing company Primus GFS, resulting in a consistent “Superior” rating of our facility and food safety program year after year. The Louisiana Department of Agriculture, United States Department of Agriculture, United States Department of Defense, and Federal Food and Drug Administration also conduct unannounced audits.
